The project
Cooperation between Sardinia and Albania strengthens community relationships during the pandemic. The project trains young people in Shkodër on European integration and opportunities for study, work and training, with Ardara as coordinator and Focus Europe among the partners.
Description
The project developed cooperation between Sardinian and Albanian organisations during the disruption caused by the pandemic. Funded by Sardinia under the 2020 call of Regional Law 19/1996, training resumed in January 2022 after a suspension linked to the health emergency. The documented programme involved fifteen young students from Shkodër, selected through a public call, and addressed European integration, Albania’s prospects and opportunities for study, employment and training for young people from non-EU countries. Focus Europe joined the Italian partnership with the University of Nuoro and Associazione Malik, under the coordination of the Municipality of Ardara.
