An exchange between Sardinian and Estonian experience addresses digital transformation in local government. The project brings together institutions and experts to connect territorial planning, technological innovation and improvements in public services.
Description
The project addressed digital transformation in Sardinian local government through exchange with Estonian experience. A conference in Cagliari, documented in 2020, brought together administrators, experts and institutional representatives to discuss technological innovation and digitalisation of public administration. The initiative was promoted by Sardinia’s Council of Local Authorities, supported by Fondazione di Sardegna and involved Focus Europe. Dialogue with Estonia’s E-Governance Academy offered comparative perspectives for connecting territorial planning with digital services and tools. The project formed part of Focus Europe’s work to strengthen local institutional capacity through the exchange of experience and administrative approaches.
