THE ANNUAL MEMBERS' MEETING OF FOCUS EUROPE RENEWS COMMITMENT AND LEADERSHIP FOR A STRONG EUROPE

As part of Europa Experience - David Sassoli in Rome, Focus Europe reaffirms its vision with a renewed board of directors.



In the fascinating context of Europa Experience - David Sassoli, located in the heart of Piazza Venezia in Rome, the Focus Europe's annual meeting of members, a key event that reconfirmed the association's commitment to a more integrated and resilient Europe.


A highlight of the assembly was the renewal of the board of directors, which will lead the association for the next three years. Giuseppe Cappai has been reconfirmed president, supported by the Honorable Fabio Porta in the role of vice president and by Efisio De Muru who will take on the role of Secretary of Focus Europe. The Board of Directors is completed by Mario Bruno, Francesca Fadda, Leonardo Vicino (Budget Councilor of the Municipality of Gravina in Puglia who takes over from the Mayor of Gravina in Puglia Fedele Lagreca) and Christian Stevelli.


The assembly had the honor of welcoming international guests, including Marco Agius, Mayor of the Local Council of the city of Bormlain Malta, Paul Vella representing the North Tramontana Region and Ivana Legname representing the Municipality of >Valletta. Their presence underlines the importance of the expansion of the association throughout Europe, including Malta, and strengthens the transnational collaboration network. Present, in addition to the members of the board of directors, representing the Sardinian mayors were the mayor of Ardara Francesco Dui and the mayor of Cheremule Salvatore Masia; Luigi Mossa representing theCouncil of Local Authorities of Sardinia; Mosè Antonio Troiano, mayor of San Paolo Albanese; the deserving members Cesare Festa and Daniele Gizzi; the director of Cesviter Consulting technical partner of Focus Europe, < strong>Manuel Leiva Lopez.


“Today's assembly has not only strengthened our path towards greater European cohesion, but has also consolidated the leadership that will guide Focus Europe towards new goals ”, stated president Cappai. “We are proud of the work we have done so far and are excited to continue promoting our values with such a dedicated and knowledgeable team.”


The assembly also expressed strong support for the continuity of the work carried out by the director Fabio Roccuzzo, reconfirmed at the helm of the association, and its staff. The director will be supported by Francesco Gagliardi, appointed deputy director. Fabio Amato was also reconfirmed in his crucial role as Auditor, thus guaranteeing continuity and stability in the administration.


Focus Europe continues to dedicate itself to promoting a united Europe, with a particular emphasis on European civic education, environmental sustainability and valorisation of European culture. The assembly offered a precious moment to reflect on the progress made and plan future strategies in line with the association's mission.


Concluding the event, members reiterated their commitment to working together for a stronger, more resilient and harmonious Europe, highlighting the importance of unity and cooperation transnational.
