The third YWTS edition involved more than 150 Sardinian local authority employees in European project training. Local sessions and institutional meetings in Brussels strengthened administrative skills; the programme received an Excellence Mention in the 2025 Basile Award.
Description
The third YWTS edition trained more than 150 employees of Sardinian local authorities, focusing on younger staff and administrations’ capacity to use European opportunities. The programme covered EU funding, collaborative project development and applied planning. A selected delegation attended an institutional training week in Brussels on 23–28 February 2025, meeting representatives of Parliament, the Commission, the Committee of the Regions and the European Economic and Social Committee. Delivered by Focus Europe with support from the Sardinian regional government, the project received an Excellence Mention in the 2025 Filippo Basile Award for public administration training.
