Description
VOT-EU accompanied the May 2019 European elections through information and discussion activities for citizens. Co-funded by the European Parliament, the project involved Focus Europe in organising debates, workshops in schools and universities, discussion groups and information stands in public squares. Activities took place in municipalities across eight European countries, creating opportunities to understand the electoral process and engage with democratic life. By working in educational settings and public spaces, the initiative brought European issues closer to local communities and encouraged informed participation in the elections.
