The project supports disability centres in Yatta, Idhna and Samou with staff training and vehicles for transporting users. Quartu Sant’Elena leads cooperation with SpazioAcca and Focus Europe; the first minivan has been purchased for the Idhna centre.
Description
Territori Uniti 2025 continues cooperation between Quartu Sant’Elena and the Palestinian municipalities of Yatta, Idhna and Samou. It supports disability centres through service improvements, staff training and vehicles for transporting users. The action plan includes three minivans; Focus Europe has already documented the purchase of the first vehicle for the Idhna centre. SpazioAcca leads training activities, while Focus Europe assists the lead municipality with management and coordination of the international partnership. Approved by the Sardinian regional government for 2025–2027, the project combines practical access to services with the exchange of professional expertise.
