The project
Elèt Eventi promotes youth inclusion and participation through a five-a-side football tournament involving young people at Quartucciu’s juvenile detention centre, creative activities and awareness raising. Focus Europe supports the project’s European dimension.
Description
“Street Sport Sardinia” uses five-a-side football and urban culture to promote relationships, participation and youth inclusion. Developed by Elèt Eventi, it brings together Quartucciu’s juvenile detention centre and a network of educational, community and media organisations. The proposal combines sporting competition with creative activities, including a tournament anthem, videos and public awareness events. Its aim is to highlight the educational potential of sport and urban arts, support access to learning and strengthen links between young people, schools and the wider community. Focus Europe is listed as a partner providing advice, expertise and European dissemination. The project is funded under Fondazione di Sardegna’s 2022 call for volunteering, philanthropy and charity.
