The project
A network of European territories that connected resilience, solidarity and citizen participation, with particular attention to local and island communities.
Description
The project supported dialogue between local authorities and civil society on responses to social, economic and environmental crises, with the aim of strengthening cohesion and shared values.
Objectives and activities
To develop intercultural dialogue, active citizenship and cooperation between territories; highlight island perspectives; and exchange experiences on crises, migration, young people and climate change.
Results and developments
The archive documents six international events between 2021 and 2023, a network of 20 organisations in 13 countries and 384 attendances across the meetings. Attendances do not necessarily represent unique individuals.
Distinctive features
Coordinated by ASEL – Associazione Sarda Enti Locali. The final report and videos document the cooperation developed through the project.
