Description
Planning Networks involved Focus Europe, the NGO Medina and the municipalities of Tulkarem and Taybeh in a cooperation initiative supported by EuropeAid. The project addressed local administrative capacity and dialogue between participating territories. Its objectives included stronger territorial cohesion, better urban balance and greater citizen involvement in local government decisions. The initiative connected planning with participation, placing cooperation between municipalities and mutual understanding between communities at its centre. It sought to strengthen the ability of local institutions to respond to territorial needs through shared approaches.
