The project
Administrative capacity and local development across Italy and the Eastern Mediterranean. Focus Europe participated as a partner.
Description
MIDEMP supported local development and stronger public institutions in Jenin, Umm al-Fahm and Tubkat Fahel. Funded by the ENPI CBC Mediterranean Sea Basin programme, it involved Focus Europe as a partner, with the Province of Cagliari as lead organisation. Activities aimed to improve territorial planning, coordination between public and private actors and services for small enterprises. The initiative included tools to support business start-ups and better knowledge of local socioeconomic indicators, paying attention to disadvantaged sectors and the needs of the participating communities.
