The project
Linguistic minorities and local identities within a European cooperation network. Exchanges connected thirteen European territories.
Description
EuroNetLang connected territories with strong cultural and linguistic identities. Supported by Legautonomie and Focus Europe and funded by Europe for Citizens, it promoted local distinctiveness through cooperation and exchanges of experience. The network involved thirteen European authorities and territories, working with five minority languages: Sardinian, Arbëresh, Occitan, Breton and Molise Croatian. The initiative approached linguistic diversity as part of European citizenship, connecting the preservation of local identities with mutual understanding and cooperation between communities across different regions and countries in Europe.
