Description
EUROMINE connected European municipalities interested in mining heritage and the development prospects of their territories. Submitted for the Province of Cagliari under Europe for Citizens, the project encouraged communities to build relationships and cooperate. Exchanges focused on approaches to recovering former mining sites and on local development strategies. The network considered the relationship between industrial memory and the future of these territories, using European cooperation as a setting for dialogue and mutual learning among communities facing comparable questions about their heritage.
