The project
A Sicily–Malta town twinning initiative on youth and European opportunities. Exchanges involved students and local representatives.
Description
The town twinning initiative between Agira and Ħaż-Żebbuġ brought together young people and local representatives from Sicily and Malta. Funded by Europe for Citizens, it involved a Maltese delegation of 25 people and more than 80 students from language schools in Agira. Activities introduced European opportunities for education and international mobility. The exchanges linked cooperation between the two communities with young people’s prospects, helping participants explore how European programmes can support learning, encounters and experiences beyond their own national borders.
