A town-twinning partnership between Gravina in Puglia and Leskovac that promotes intercultural dialogue and European citizenship through music, education and encounters between communities.
Description
The project brings together institutions, citizens, schools and cultural organisations from Italy and Serbia. It supports mutual understanding that can develop into lasting cooperation.
Objectives and activities
To encourage dialogue between the two communities, celebrate their cultural and musical heritage and strengthen civic participation. The exchanges connect educational activities, public meetings and cooperation between local authorities.
Results and developments
The first meeting took place in Gravina in Puglia from 26 to 29 September 2026, with activities from 27 to 29 September. The programme continues with a second meeting in Leskovac.
Distinctive features
Italy–Serbia cooperation. The town-twinning partnership brings together education, music and the participation of local communities.
