An educational initiative by Istituto Comprensivo Cristoforo Colombo in Cagliari exploring the EU and its opportunities. Funded by Fondazione di Sardegna, it provides for educational meetings, interactive activities and a study visit to Brussels.
Description
“#2021NextEuropeYou” was designed to make learning about Europe part of an educational programme connected to students’ interests and questions. Developed by Istituto Comprensivo Cristoforo Colombo in Cagliari, it addresses the history and values of the European Union, the functioning of its institutions and opportunities for personal development. The project places particular emphasis on young people’s participation and their understanding of European challenges in the context of recovery from the pandemic. The application sets out a programme combining educational meetings, discussions, learning games, simulations and short videos to share the topics explored. It also provides for a study visit to Brussels. Support from Fondazione di Sardegna backs an educational approach intended to strengthen European belonging and informed participation in community life.
