Our History
Focus Europe was founded in 2007 with the aim of promoting territorial development and European integration by assisting local authorities in accessing and using the resources made available by the European Union.
Over the years, Focus Europe has coordinated numerous community projects, contributing to the valorization of local resources and the strengthening of the European network of entities involved. Through a multidisciplinary approach, the association has developed initiatives ranging from training activities to courses and seminars, covering a wide range of sectors including youth work, the fight against social distress, sustainable energy and international mobility.
In addition to the projects funded by the European Union, Focus Europe has developed numerous activities to support its members, including training programs dedicated to administrators, municipal officials, young people and schools. These initiatives have strengthened local skills and promoted sustainable and inclusive development.
Focus Europe, now Focus Europe ETS - THE Network of European Territories, continues to be a key player in the landscape of territorial development and European cooperation, with a constant commitment to improving the quality of life in local communities through innovative and sustainable projects.

Training Activities
In addition to project activities, Focus has organized and managed hundreds of training courses in Italy and Brussels, at the European Institutions. Below are some of the main activities carried out.
Thanks to these initiatives, it was possible to visit the community institutions, fully understand their operating mechanisms and discover the funding opportunities reserved for local authorities through meetings and workshops with high-level representatives and officials of the institutions on the European policies of greatest interest and local MEPs of reference.
We have also managed and organized customized training interventions, dedicated for example to Cybersecurity, Covenant of Mayors, PNRR, Disability and Inclusion, Waste Management, Agricultural and Environmental Policies, just to mention some of the topics most covered in recent years.
Training activities for administrators and public officials
Thanks to classroom activities and study trips organised in Brussels, many recent graduates, final year graduates and university students have, over the years, had the opportunity to learn how the community institutions work, the role of the European Union and its importance in everyday life.
Through an interactive training path, students discovered, actively participating in working groups and visiting the institutions of the European Union, the functioning and history of the EU. This training also allowed them to learn about the portals of the European institutions dedicated to young people, offering opportunities for growth, volunteering and work.
During the program there were also focuses on the Erasmus program, and many of the participants, over the years, had the opportunity to work thanks to the EU and the experience provided by Focus Europe.
Educational activities for young students
Focus Europe has played a crucial role in supporting young entrepreneurs through targeted activities in various sectors, including agriculture, fisheries, environment, food and others. Based on input from the territories, we have organised workshops, seminars and consultancy sessions to provide the necessary skills to develop innovative and sustainable ideas.
Thanks to our activities and the support of the European Union, many participants have managed to intercept funding and open new businesses in the area. These successes testify to the effectiveness of our approach in promoting youth entrepreneurship and local development.
Through our ongoing commitment, we have facilitated access to the resources needed to turn ideas into concrete reality, contributing to economic growth and job creation. Focus Europe continues to be a reliable partner for young entrepreneurs, promoting innovation and sustainable development in local communities.

Thanks to classroom activities and study trips organized in Brussels, many students over the years have had the opportunity to learn, through this experience, how the community institutions work, the role of the European Union and its importance in everyday life.

Thanks to a program designed for middle school students, students learned while having fun,
thus feeling like European citizens.
