Membership strengthens cooperation between local authorities on European project development, enhancing local territories and exchanges between communities.
The Municipality of Arborea, led by Mayor Manuela Pintus, joins the Focus Europe ETS network. We are pleased to welcome the municipal administration to a shared process centred on the role of local authorities in building a Europe closer to its citizens.
Membership provides an opportunity to develop new collaborations, identify European programmes that match the territory’s needs and promote cooperation and exchange initiatives with other Italian and European communities. A process in which institutions, associations and the local community can help to define projects that make the most of Arborea’s resources and skills.
“We welcome the Municipality of Arborea and Mayor Manuela Pintus to our network,” says Giuseppe Cappai, President of Focus Europe ETS. “The arrival of a new administration is, above all, the beginning of working together: listening to the territory’s needs, sharing expertise and building relationships with other European communities. We offer our experience so that this cooperation can lead to practical opportunities for Arborea and its citizens.”
Since 2007, Focus Europe has supported local authorities in accessing European Union programmes and resources through project development, technical assistance, training and the creation of international partnerships.
With Arborea joining, the network continues to grow stronger through cooperation between administrations and the sharing of experiences, with the aim of supporting territories in actively participating in European opportunities.
