Focus Europe si propone di offrire tramite l’EuroDesk un servizio di monitoraggio dei bandi europei in base ad una chiara comprensione delle necessità e degli obiettivi degli associati. In questo senso provvede a fornire informazioni, agli associati richiedenti, sui programmi europei di finanziamento di loro potenziale interesse, quale primo passo verso le successive fasi di realizzazione del singolo progetto, coadiuvando l’assistenza che lo staff di Focus Europe rivolge agli associati durante l’intero ciclo di progettazione. Tra i servizi dell'EuroDesk vi è infine il monitoraggio e la pubblicizzazione degli eventi di particolare rilievo e di potenziale interesse per i nostri associati: conferenze, seminari ed infodays organizzati dalla Commissione Europea, dal Parlamento Europeo e dalle altre istituzioni comunitarie.

The second high-level conference on the next Multiannual Financial Framework – the new budget which will regulate the expenditures of the EU from 2014 – has opened up this morning in the plenary room of the European Parliament. Following a seven-year schedule, the current financial framework agreed in 2007 is in fact to expire soon. As it is clear, it is in a very different context from the one of 2006 that European decision-makers are startingto negotiate the new budget: a gloomy context of economic and financial crisis, low confidence, growing unemployment and widespread uncertainty. Stemming from this consideration, all the three leaders of the main EU institutions – the Council, the Parliament and the Commission – have stressed however how this very negotiation represents a key opportunity to invert the trend and stimulate the recovery of Europe’s economy.
