GENERAL OBJECTIVES:
The Alpine Space Programme 2007-2013 aims to increase competitiveness and attractiveness of the alpine cooperation area by developing joint actions in fields where transnational cooperation is required for sustainable solutions. Projects should enhance endogenous development potential in the cooperation area and capitalise on existing knowledge in the light of the programme’s core thematic fields. The objectives should be consistent with the positioning of the project in its policy context and be clear, transnational, stimulating and ambitious, but achievable.
GENERAL OBJECTIVES:
CENTRAL EUROPE is a European Union programme that encourages cooperation among the countries of Central Europe to improve innovation, accessibility and the environment and to enhance the competitiveness and attractiveness of their cities and regions.
The overall programme goal has been formulated in direct response to the renewed Lisbon (growth, competitiveness, employment) and the Gothenburg (sustainability) agendas. The Central Europe Programme 2007-2013 has formulated its programme goal: Strengthening territorial cohesion, promoting internal integration and enhancing the competitiveness of Central Europe
GENERAL OBJECTIVES:
The South East Europe programme is a unique instrument which, in the framework of the Regional Policy's Territorial Cooperation Objective, aims to improve integration and competitiveness in an area which is as complex as it is diverse.
The programme is supporting projects developed within four Priority Axes: Innovation, Environment, Accessibility, and Sustainable Growth Areas - in line with the Lisbon and Gothenburg priorities, and is also contributing to the integration process of the non-EU member states.
GENERAL OBJECTIVES:
The MED Programme is an EU transnational cooperation programme among the “Territorial Cooperation objectives” of the EU Cohesion Policy. Partners from 13 countries including the whole Northern Mediterranean seacoast are working together to strengthen the competitiveness, employment and sustainable development of this area. The transnational setup allows the programme to tackle territorial challenges beyond national boundaries, such as environmental risk management, international business or transport corridors.
